Duel of inventors

Electricity, as we know it today, has a very eventful past. Towards the end of the 19th century, in a duel between Thomas Alva Edison and George Westinghouse in America, it was decided whether DC or AC power is the energy source of the future. Today this media hardball confrontation is known as the war of currents. On behalf of the FWU we produced a complete animation film, that will be used as teaching material on the subject. With complex processing steps we brought historical materials and sources for the animations, like sketches, technical drawings and photos, to a digital „life”.
